Introduction
The Peoplelogic.ai Slack integration adds a bot to your Slack workspace and allows you to connect to Peoplelogic.ai with one click. NB: Lexi by Peoplelogic.ai will only aggregate information about conversations in public channels that the application has been invited to. Individual conversations and private channels are not able to be aggregated.
Prerequisites
- You must have admin access to your Peoplelogic.ai account. If you don't, point your administrator to this page to have them set up the integration.
- You must be able to add new Slack applications to your Slack workspace.
Configuration
Now it's time to connect Peoplelogic.ai and Slack. First, click the + icon and then Add Integration. Alternatively, find the Peoplelogic.ai application in the Slack marketplace and click Install.
Next, scroll through the integrations until you find Slack and then click "Install Slack App".
Next, you'll be taken to Slack to authorize the connection between Peoplelogic.ai and Slack. You will need to login to Slack to authorize for your account. The screen should look something like the following. Click Allow to finish the installation.
You'll be returned to Peoplelogic.ai and the installation will be complete.
After installation - be sure to invite the Lexi by Peoplelogic.ai bot into the channels you wish to receive insights for. If you don't invite the bot, you won't receive insights!
Testing
Peoplelogic.ai will start to aggregate the events during its next scheduled aggregation run and you should see events showing in the main dashboard timeline.
